Lesley Turner
Founder & Executive Producer

There’s a Japanese philosophy I’ve long aligned myself with known as Wabi Sabi. In the art of kintsugi, Japanese artists repair broken pottery with golden glue, healing a new piece together that is even more beautiful than it was before.

As a widow, single Mom and someone who has personally experienced housing insecurity on more than one occasion, community was the golden glue that kept me together.

After a 25+ year career as a direct response commercial producer and fundraising video producer for nonprofits, I finally took the leap to form my own video marketing agency.

With the formation of Call to Action Stories, my guiding light is to amplify the voices of nonprofits, schools, and women-led businesses rooted in impact.

I am so grateful for my daughters, friends and all those who have cheered and supported me on my journey thus far. This is truly my ikigai (yet another Japanese philosophy I love), combining what I love to do with what can be of service to others.
