Who We Are

Call To Action Stories (CTAS) was founded by Lesley Turner in 2024 after a 25+ career as a direct response commercial producer and later, fundraising development professional for nonprofits.

As Executive Producer, she leads a talented team of marketers, editors, project managers and video journalists who all share a passion for uplifting and strengthening our communities locally and throughout California.

Our Commitment to LA County

Youth@Work Program: Through our growing partnership with LA County’s Department of Economic Opportunity, we’re mentoring and training the next generation of storytellers. Our student mentees gain professional production experience, learn to craft mission-driven campaigns and build a meaningful portfolio to help launch their careers.

LA Fire Recovery Support: Like so many in our community, Lesley and her family faced homelessness after the 2025 fires yet gratefully received support led by the disaster relief and community recovery services of the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

In an effort to give back, she recently partnered with LA Strong Comms Coalition (LASCC) in 2026, to provide pro bono video services for small businesses impacted by the fires. (Check back to see our pro bono work and learn more about the LASCC clients).
